I do this with the recipes that I have developed myself, based on the knowledge I have gained in both the Netherlands and Brazil. 💗Raised in Brazil
Why the Brazilian influence, I hear you think? Well, I'm originally Brazilian. I grew up in Fortaleza and learned to cook there from my grandmother, who was a chef in her own restaurant. My grandmother was my great example and as a little girl I always looked over her shoulder. When I was 10 years old, I had already learned so much from her that I could cook for the whole family on my own.
💗Pastry is like art
I like to make savory dishes, but with pastries you can really enjoy yourself, I discovered later. Because the presentation plays such an important role in this, you can turn it into true works of art. And I saw a challenge in that. So I decided to take a pastry chef course. With results. I not only gained a lot of knowledge about the different baking techniques, but above all I found my great passion: baking.
💗Connected to my homeland
When I moved to the Netherlands for love, cooking became increasingly important to me. It became a way to feel connected to my homeland, my family and memories of my childhood. For Choco Brazil I make my favorite pastries with fillings, creams and toppings that are inspired by the Brazilian delicacies. But above all with a lot of passion and love. I hope you taste that!
